IRB Basics Training

ASU’s Institutional Review Board (IRB) has developed a new one-hour “IRB Basics” outreach sessions to help support researchers especially graduate students who are new to the IRB review process.
Learn everything you need to know about obtaining IRB approval for your human subjects research. Presenters will discuss the purpose and function of the IRB, requirements for approval, how to navigate the online submission system (ERA), and how to submit for review. A portion of the session will be devoted to audience Q&As and specific topics. This session is designed for faculty, staff, and student investigators who are new to the IRB review process or would like clarity on any aspects of IRB review. This event is presented by the ASU IRB staff within the Office of Research Integrity and Assurance (ORIA).
