Get Involved in the 2019 Diversity and Inclusion Science Initiative (DISI) Graduate Research Conference!

The DISI Conference Committee invites you to get involved in its 2nd annual conference designed to showcase how the work of ASU graduate students from all disciplines advances diversity and inclusion efforts. There is no cost to this conference for graduate students. Visit our website (https://thesanfordschool.asu.edu/disigrads) for more details. Apply to be a DISI Graduate Student Ambassador

We are seeking to fill positions for Graduate Student Ambassadors from each ASU department. Position responsibilities involve engaging graduate students to participate in the upcoming conference through marketing and advertising strategies. We invite you to stop by the DISI Graduate Student Ambassador Party on Thursday, April 19, 2018 between 12pm and 3pm to meet the Conference Committee, learn more about the position, and enjoy free food and refreshments! Recommend a Keynote Speaker for the 2019 DISI Conference

We are encouraging students to submit recommendations for keynote speakers for the 2019 DISI Graduate Research Conference. Preferences will be made for speakers who are not ASU-affiliated and who are able to speak to an interdisciplinary audience (across departments and degree types). Submit a Proposal for the 2019 DISI Conference

We are inviting graduate students from all disciplines on any campus at ASU to participate in the 2019 DISI Graduate Research Conference. The conference will focus on four major themes: (1) Navigating personal identities, (2) Conducting research that defines and/or promotes diversity and inclusion, (3) Promoting social change and empowerment, and (4) Incorporating diversity and inclusion into teaching and mentoring inside and outside of academia. Submissions must be formatted as presentations, artistic displays or performances, conversational panels and roundtables, or posters. The submission deadline is July 13, 2018.
